With over 20 years of international Human Resources and Organizational Development experience. Roden began his career in retail during the high growth years with Toys R Us, eventually leading HR for the Midwest/Rocky Mountain Region of the United States.
After cutting his teeth with a high-intensity retailer, Roden joined GeoLogistics, a start-up global logistics company. He headed up the global human resources function, helping the company grow to over 1.6 billion USD in annual revenue with operations on five continents in over 40 countries.
Roden later took on another start-up operation at Spectrum EBP, a joint venture/subsidiary of JPMorgan/Chase and Wells Fargo. As Chief Administration Officer, he assisted in the transition of the company to a separate entity and eventually to its sale.
Eventually finding his way to the hospitality industry, Roden joined Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Most recently, he was responsible for Starwood’s global leadership training team as well as the corporation’s international team building and retreat practice. In September of 2008, he founded Inspire Consulting Group, a global development organization dedicated to practical, reality-based leadership, supervisory and guest experience training for corporate management teams. His current clients include top hotels and resorts throughout North America and Asia.
